Attendees break up into different teams and focus on a particular segment of WordPress. All the teams will be led by someone who will help the attendees.<span id=\"more-1296\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are some of the example teams:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/support\/handbook\/getting-started\/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Support<\/a>: This team\u2019s goal is to provide help to WordPress users in WordPress.org support forum, IRC or regional support forums.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/docs\/handbook\/about-the-docs-team\/get-involved\/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Docs<\/a>: This team usually helps in improving the quality of current WordPress docs, including Theme &amp; Plugin documentation.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/themes\/handbook\/about\/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Theme Review Team<\/a>: This team will cut down the WordPress.org theme review queue by reviewing themes.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/polyglots\/handbook\/about\/get-involved\/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Polyglot<\/a>: Polyglots make WordPress available in all the languages by translating WordPress to their language(s). The team lead(s) must be GTE of their locale, if possible.<\/li>\n<li>And many more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In order to attend Contributor Day, make sure that you RSVP at our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetup.com\/WordPress-Kanpur\/events\/252671925\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meetup.com event<\/a>, as we have limited space for the event.<\/p>\n<p>The event venue is sponsored for Contributor Day by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alliesinteractive.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Allies Interactive<\/a>, who is also a venue sponsor of our local meetup chapter, as well as an active contributor in Kanpur WordPress community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When: 11th of August, around 2pm.
