The venue lies in the center of the city, Lajpat Nagar. You can easily catch a cab and reach the venue from anywhere in the city. The venue itself has some 9 rooms so if anyone is interested in staying there, please let us know in advance so we can book it on your behalf.<\/p>\n

A bit of a back story<\/strong><\/h4>\n

When we started looking for a venue for WordCamp Kanpur, we were thinking to go for an auditorium or college. As it turns out, there are no proper auditoriums in our city that can fit our needs, while colleges either rejected us directly or were charging way too much money.<\/p>\n

Keeping all this in mind, we decided to go for Rangoli Guest House. The place is really clean and is fully air-conditioned. We will have 2 connected halls. The first hall will serve as a networking area for our attendees and sponsors, with a capacity of 300. The second hall, located on the first floor, is going to be our conference area, which will have sitting arrangements for some 200+ people.<\/p>\n
